[論文] Execution of Stored Programs by a Rapid Single-Flux-Quantum Random-Access-Memory-Embedded Bit-Serial Microprocessor Using 50-GHz Clock Frequency
8bitの超伝導マイクロプロセッサとメモリをワンチップに集積し、50GHzのクロック周波数を用いてプログラム実行をデモしました。
このチップは、超伝導ループ内の磁束量子の有無を「0」・「1」として信号処理を行うディジタル回路で、約11,000個のジョセフソン素子が集積されています。本報告は、Applied Physics Letterの特集「Advances in Superconducting Logic」の論文として採録されました。
Demonstration of stored-program computing using 50-GHz clock frequency was achieved by a superconductor 8-bit microprocessor and memory integrated on a single chip. The paper has been accepted for publication in Applied Physics Letter, as a part of special collection, “Advances in Superconducting Logic.”

The die photo of the single-flux-quantum microprocessor with embedded memory banks. The test chip was fabricated using the 9-Nb-layer process in the CRAVITY, Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. It was made up of 11,000 Josephson junctions.
